Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was a member of One Direction. His parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. His birth date was the 1st February 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he made his own band, composed of three of his classmates. The band was identified as White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to its excellent presentation. He was always interested in music but always wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapy. The local bakery on a part-time basis to assist families financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition when he performed Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. The reason for this is that his group broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to become member of a brand new group, One Direction. The Others in the group were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group performed hits like My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the contest. They were one of the possible winners for the coveted prize. The group finished in third spot in the competition, behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which won. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell failed to take home the race. However Cowell granted Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
