Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over 20 years. Her most famed role is for her performance as a character in House in the series House on Fox. In a strictly Jewish background, Lisa Edelstein moved from Wayne to New York City when she was 18 to attend Tisch School of Arts. She was very active in the club scene in the city of New York, and did enough to be recognized from the news media. At the same time she became more aware of AIDS' devastating effects. Eventually she used her training and fame to write and compose an original musical entitled Positive Me and also starred in the film. Awake in the Wild Side was her next assignment. After Awake on The Wild Side had stopped airing, she started to act in films and on television, initially in small parts. In time, her experience as an actor grew.
