Charissa Thompson
Thompson left FOX Sports to host for Versus Sports as well as Yahoo Sports. She hosted Versus' NHL studio coverage as well as recorded web-based videos for the incredibly popular Yahoo platform, leading Yahoo Sports' presence at major events, including events like the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. The success in both venues led to her joining ESPN in the summer of 2011 and she was promoted to host of ESPN's newest afternoon program "Numbers Never Lie." Following a switch to "SportsNation," she enjoyed a long-lasting run of success. The network was shut down for FS1's launch on Los Angeles, May 2013 and returned the city of Los Angeles. As a sports lover at heart, Thompson has also shown that she has the ability to seamlessly cross into the entertainment world of television. She was tapped as a co-host on"Extra," a Hollywood Newsmagazine "Extra" during June of 2014 after working a number of jobs part-time. The show was filmed in Universal Studios and also worked at award shows, celebrity celebrations and many other occasions.
